Dark Times

In anticipation of shutting down my darkroom and moving to a new house, I’m trying to make a print every day, mostly focusing on 50x60cm posters, which will later go up on my shop.

I already have mapped out where my work is going in terms of content and the techniques involved, so not being able to produce silver-gelatine prints shouldn’t make any long-term difference. I’ll continue to work with the carbon transfer process and its relatives, as well as going further into a new digital series, and hybrid processes too.

While I won’t have a darkroom for some time, I will however, continue to develop my own negatives, which is an essential part of my series on painting-realistic photography.
